Hello
everybody, i'm Rosy Maccan, the author of Giogi and of
his wonderful world. My pen name is Kaimanna.
I've
always been fond of fairy
tales.
When I was a child, I used to like listening to whom read
me or told me fairy tales. I was also interested in
cartoons. When I grew up, I preferred reading a lot of
tales on my own. In the end, I've decided to create my
own texts and pictures using
my
spontaneous fantasy.
I
felt like there was a certain
creativity
e in me and I chose to attend an Art School in order to
satisfy my passion. Now I've got my own office and I can
share my ideas with my Sweetheart whom I want to thank
and greet. By the way, you are kindly invited to visit
also his interesting Web
site
on photography.
Let's
go back to Giogi. I was inspired
by a beautiful child who does really exist. He is five
years old just like Giogi, but I can't tell you more
because of privacy reasons.
All
this began when I had to teach
children how to simply
draw,
human figures, with little circles, short lines, etc.
Suddenly, there he is!
Giogi
did just come up from the
picture!
A circle was his face, two short lines were his legs and
he had a sweet look just like a real kid.
I
then asked the kids whom I baby-sat for what they thought
about Giogi. They were enthusiastic. So, I started to
make up Giogi's stories. I tell these stories with
different voice tones playing
with the puppets
I've personally made to entertain and amuse the
kids.

Giogi's
stories have become a
real passion to me
now. So, I decided to let everybody know these stories
with the aid of the Internet. I've studied programmes for
computer-aided drawing, I've devoured a lot of books and
met a lot of kids. Now, here I am!
I
hope both adults and children will be able to appreciate
this site. I'll be glad to receive your opinions and
constructive criticisms on it.
Thank
you for visiting this web site.
